The project rejects the conventional idea ofthe bench as a rigid and monotonousstructure, without diminishing its typologicalefficiency. Freedom of movement and taking
on different postures are the added value,from which the semi-elliptical form originates.The latter is raised by drawing a comfortableback that defines the circular profile of
a large vase. The design recalls thechanging landscapes of the desert sandmounds from which the name.
