POINTSUN
No nonsense bollard with integrated solar power in two heights. Ambient and guidance lighting.
Free light – no cables – no installation issues.
Low version: Along public walk / running / bicycle-routes or in parks and paths. As guide or pathfinder.
High version: Between public walk / running / bicycle-routes and roads or plazas to prevent parking or limit traffic.
Material and surface
Bollard: Extruded aluminum, primed and powder coated in matt texture (gloss 10).
Light unit: Top in UV-stabilized polycarbonate(PC), bottom in polyoxymethylene (POM).
Light function
Guide- and atmospheric light.
During daylight hours the solar energy gets stored on a battery - through a solar cell. At dusk the light will turn on (via a preset clock) and light up all evening and night, according to the charged energy. At sunrise the light will turn off again.
The light is omni-directional and directed horizontally and downwards through a reflector and frosted cylinder.
Light unit
Solar cell: Monocrystalline, 300mW. Battery: NiMh, 3.6V/3.100mAh. LED: 4 x white, 3000K. Electronics: Intelligent processor controlled for optimum energy storage and light optimization incl. RTC-clock.
Fixation
Light unit fixated by a M6mm security pin.
Product buried 300mm or surface mounted via 3 x countersunk Ø11 holes in flange (F version - with flange).
Recommended distance between products: 1 - 2m or according to the application.

Maintenance

SUNSTONE
Solar-powered LED lights integrated in a paving stone - no power cables or maintenance. Tolerates 'drive-over' by truck and turns on automatically after dark - even in winter when the sun light is minimal. Ideal for both existing and new facilities as paths, patios, parks and green spaces. Also for use on vertical surfaces such as walls.
Usage
Solar-powered LED lighting paving stone, designed to adapt concrete blocks, embedded and mountable on gravel, tarmac, soil - even walls.

Materials
Housing: Aluminum. Top: Molded clear UV stable and scratch-resistant polycarbonate (PC) with the molded non-skid pattern.
Light feature
The light is refracted in the transparent and square patterned top. The light turns on / off via a sensor (app. 50 lux). 4 hours of charging in sunlight (900w/m2) generate 8-10 hours of light.
Light unit
Solar cell: Amorphous silicon solar cells. Energy storage: 2 supercapacitors (in total 200F/2.7V). LED: 2 pcs. 0.2W white Nichia LED (5,000 degrees Kelvin).
Fixation
To be buried. Mount in a hole to fit product and fix into place with concrete/tile adhesive, and glue optionally to the edge with silicone. Can be mounted directly in the tarmac. Sunstone requires approx. 2 days of light absorption to reach operational mode. Place Sunstone in an open area - do not place under trees, pergolas etc. Avoid areas with powerful artificial night-time lighting
